What's coming up
The first Part 2 assignments start coming due a week from today. So get started on Part 2 ASAP. Part 2 represents a fresh start. There's no connection whatsoever between Part 2 and Part 1. The following section, Part 3, will tie them together and offer an alternative approach to linear programming problems. The beginning date for the first test is Sept. 14 which is now less than two weeks away. So this is the time to reinforce the idea of working on assignments well ahead of the due date
