This morning I submitted academic progress reports for most students who do not currently have at least a C average and who have not talked with me about their grade status. This is a warning flag to encourage you to look for ways to improve your performance. In most of these instances there's a rather obvious issue that needs to be addressed. In some cases a student will have an acceptable test grade, but has shirked the homework. In other instances a student has diligently done the homework but bombed the test. The important thing is that if you have received one of these progress reports, you need to figure out a way to change the trajectory that you're on. You know your situation better than anyone else.
