Automatic Extensions
A post last week mentioned issues that were arising with regard to getting automatic extensions on homework due dates. These problems reportedly have been solved. Please let me know if have any problem receiving an automatic extension when you request one. Remember that automatic extensions are available only for assignments that are less than two weeks past the due date. Once you get the extension you get 48 additional hours to complete the assignment, and whatever additional work you do during that period you earn 75% credit for. So there is a "late" penalty for the late work, but 75% credit is a whole lot better than 0% credit. 😋
