The world doesn't close during spring break
Just because March 6-10 is spring break doesn't mean that everything shuts down during that period. The class website and all the class videos remain available, and more importantly WebAssign remains up and running. So for those who are not disappearing for spring break, it allows for you to continue work in a more or less normal fashion. Really, the only thing different is that there are no due dates for assignments during the week of spring break.
