MA 114 Online: Post Mortem on Test #3

With Test #3 now complete, the class average for the 40 students who completed the test is 71.9. It is generally the case that students find Test #3 somewhat more challenging than the other two tests. But then scores tend to bounce back up for the final exam (which isn't very far away). Your Test #3 score is now included in your status report under the "Grades" tab in WebAssign.

The final exam opens on Monday, May 1 and will be available through Monday, May 8.

Keep in mind also that extensions on homework will shut down when the exam period begins. So plan to get all your homework efforts completed by Sunday, April 30.

News Briefs

(Dec 4) Extension requests have been disabled as of today.
(Nov 21) Going into the final day for Test #3, 28 students have taken the test. The average score is 75 and the median is 79.
(Nov 19) With 2 days to go on Test #3, 10 students have taken the test with an average score of 73 and median score of 82.
(Nov 16) After Test #3 has been open for two days, 8 students have completed the test with an average score of 75 and a median score of 88.
(Nov 16) I have reset the due dates for the 6.1 and 6.2 WebAssignments so that they match the dates shown on the calendar in this website.
(Nov 14) MA 114 Test #3 begins tomorrow. Last day for test is Nov. 21.

(Oct 20) 19 students have taken the test. The average score is 91 and the median score is 94. Monday is the final day to take the test. The Testing Centers are closed today.
